The flexibility to shape your own schedule, including the selection of your coaching locations, days, and hours, and competitive pay starting at $25/hr., are just a couple of things that set Kids ROAR apart as an amazing organization to work with!  

To be considered for Fun Coach certification you must be  passionate about coaching, reliable, and highly qualified to coach Kids, with at least two years of experience with excellent references.  As a certified Fun Coach in our database , you will receive notice of any work that comes available throughout the year. As long as you remain in good standing, you are free to choose or not choose any work as it suits your personal schedule. 

In addition to three standing ten-week afterschool sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring) which span the entire school year, and summer camp in Montgomery County Rec Centers, we also have several other one-time or shorter-term work opportunities throughout the year for you to choose from. 

Selected Fun Coach candidates will receive paid in-house training. As part of our commitment to the safety and well-being of our children, all coaches must also complete mandatory online Child Abuse & Neglect training, provide proof of vaccination, and pass a criminal background check. You will be compensated  for this onboarding process with your first paycheck.
